Measurements of the Longitudinal Proton Structure Function FL at HERA

The measurements of the longitudinal proton structure function F L in deep inelastic positron-proton scattering at low Bjorken x are presented. The data were taken by the HERA experiments H1 and ZEUS in a series of runs with different proton beam energies. Determination of the longitudinal structure function FL at HERA

Recent results from the HERA experiment H1 on the longitudinal stucture function FL of the proton are presented. They include proton structure function analyses with particular emphasis on those kinematic regions which are sensitive to FL. All results can be consistently described within the framework of perturbative QCD.
